A wireless terminal equipped with a barcode reader and an RFID function, and an information management system using the same are provided to easily check article information, and easily and conveniently transceive information with other terminals and an information management server by applying an mRFID(mobile RFID) and barcode reading technology to the wireless terminal. An RFID reader(22) reads an RFID tag attached to an article. An RFID recognizer(31) recognizes RFID information received from the RFID reader. A barcode reader(25) reads a barcode and a barcode recognizer(33) recognizes barcode information received from the barcode reader. A wireless communicator(45) supports wireless communication by including at least one of a CDMA(Code Division Modulation Access)/GSM(Global System for Mobile communication) communicator(46), a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) communicator(47), and a Bluetooth communicator(48). The communicator transmits at least one of the barcode and RFID information to other terminals or the information management server through a wireless protocol.
