THE COMPENSATION ALGORITHM OF EVEN SECOND FOR CDMA2000 1X EV-DO AP

An EVEN SEC compensation algorithm in an EV-DO base station is provided to match synchronization signals between base stations by compensating error of an output time point of the EVEN SEC. An EVEN SEC compensation algorithm in an EV-DO base station includes the steps of: determining an interrupt by receiving and processing time information of a GPS signal processing unit at a control processor of a base station; determining whether the time information is an EVEN SEC output or an ODD SEC if the interrupt is generated; reading TOD data(S3); checking whether the TOD data is outputted to the EVEN SEC or the ODD SEC(S4); outputting the EVEN SEC if the TOD data is detected by the EVEN SEC, and toggling the EVEN SEC if the TOD data is detected by the ODD SEC(S5); and outputting the EVEN SEC at a transmission time by transmitting an output value to a frequency generator if the TOD data is determined as a normal value(S6).
