COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING SACCHROMYCES POLYPEPTIDES AND beta;-1,3-GLUCANE FOR MOISTURIZING EFFECT ON THE SKIN

A cosmetic composition containing Sacchromyces polypeptides and beta-1,3-glucane for moisturizing the skin is provided to increase water content in the skin horny layer, reduce water evaporation from the skin horny layer and prevent decrease of skin transparency, skin roughness, decrease of skin gloss and fine wrinkles caused by water deficiency in the skin horny layer. A cosmetic composition for moisturizing the skin contains 0.001-10 wt.% of Sacchromyces polypeptides and 0.001-10 wt.% of beta-1,3-glucane as effective ingredients and is formulated as soft lotion, nutrition lotion, massage cream, nutrition cream, pack, gel, essence, lipstick, makeup base, foundation, lotion, ointment, cream, patch or spray, wherein the Sacchromyces polypeptide is an oligopeptide fraction isolated from cytosol in the cultured medium of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and the beta-1,3-glucane is obtained by liquid culture of Schizophyllum commune mycelium.
