A method for expanding the field of view for the outside rear-view mirror assembly of a vehicle, and a vehicle using thereof are provided to increase the field of view for the outside rear-view mirror assembly and to limit the size of the field of view. A method for expanding the field of view for the outside rear mirror assembly of a vehicle(1) includes the step of installing the rear-view mirror assembly formed with a convex spherical surface mirror whose radius of curvature is in the range of 120~135 centimeters, and the step of fastening the rear-view mirror assembly to the vehicle whose distance between the centers for the segment connecting the center portion of the mirror with the eye is in the range of 20~40 centimeters.
