A method for raising the temperature of water in a water tank when making refined salt, and the like is provided to enable efficient heat transfer, and to facilitate the collection of refined salt. A method for raising the temperature of water in a water tank(1) when making refined salt, and the like comprises: laying hot water pipes(2,3,4) or heat transfer pipes on the bottom of the water tank, and covering the pipes with a copper plate, wherein the pipes are made of copper. The method shows high thermal efficiency, compared to an iron pot made of tungsten having low thermal conductivity. The copper plate enables one to collect the refined salt easily.
