A grip holder having a guide line formed along its periphery is provided to be inserted into a golf club and to thus help a golfer to grip a golf club at correct hand positions along the guide line. A grip holder for a golf club includes: a cylindrical-shaped body made out of an elastic synthetic resin to be inserted into a golf club, and a guide line(3) protrusively formed from the top to bottom of the body along its periphery. The guide line is constituted of a lower end portion(3b) for preventing a lateral twist during swing, being grafted at a contact area between the back of the hand and the palm of the hand in a lower side of the little finger; and an upper end portion(3a) for guiding the correct positions of the little fingers.
