KOREAN SMS SENDING SERVICE METHOD USING OVERSEAS MOBILE COMMUNICATION

A Korean SMS(Short Message Service) sending service method using an overseas mobile communication terminal is provided to input/output Korean even in the overseas mobile communication, so that overseas Koreans can easily sends a Korean SMS message. A method for providing a Korean SMS(Short Message Service) in an overseas mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: executing a Korean SMS input application implemented by a virtual machine according as a user of the overseas mobile communication terminal operates a keypad(S10); displaying an SMS input screen for SMS input according as the Korean SMS input application is executed(S12); confirming whether a Korean SMS input mode is selected in the SMS input screen(S14); if so, performing Korean SMS input by displaying Korean alphabets, corresponding to the Korean input inputted through a keypad, on a screen; transmitting inputted Korean SMS data to an overseas service server if the Korean SMS input is completed(S22); enabling the overseas service server to request domestic service server to transmit Korean SMS data(S28); and performing Korean SMS transmission by the domestic service server(S30).
