METHOD FOR FABRICATING FILTER USING FOAM COATING TO BE USED IN MIDDLE AND HIGH TEMPERATURE ATMOSPHERE AND FILTER FABRICATED BY THE SAME

A method for manufacturing a filter body for treatment of waste gases with middle and high temperatures which has high dust collection efficiency, high heat resistance, high durability, improved separation efficiency of a dust layer, and high air-permeability, and a filter body manufactured by the same are provided. A method for manufacturing filter body for middle and high temperatures by using foam coating comprises the steps of: preparing a coupling agent for providing bonding strength between a support textile sheet made of an inorganic fiber textile sheet and a surface layer coating material; spraying the prepared coupling agent onto a surface of the support textile sheet, and drying the coupling agent at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time to pretreat the support textile sheet; coating the support textile sheet with the foam solution by spraying the foam solution onto a surface of the pretreated support textile sheet after preparing a foam solution by allowing a foam generator to treat a dispersion obtained by mixing a heat-resistant water-soluble resin, a heat-resistant inorganic filler, a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, a fire-retardant, and water; and flattening the foam solution coated on the support textile sheet to a predetermined thickness to form a surface layer on the support textile sheet, performing a heat treatment process of drying and hardening the surface layer at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time, and cooling the dried and hardened surface layer at room temperature.
