A method of dissolving serpentine for CO2 mineral carbonation by using ozone water is provided to dissolve metal components such as silicon, iron, aluminum, etc. in unreacted serpentine at more than room temperature, and obtain power thereof after filtering and drying by precipitating serpentine in the ozone water for 20 hours or more. The method includes the steps of: crushing serpentine into granules capable being dissolved in ozone water; defining a content condition for dissolving the serpentine granules in the ozone water to a range of 0.15 to 0.5wt.%; defining temperature for dissolving theserpentine granules in the ozone water to a range of room temperature to 50deg.C; and precipitating the serpentine granules in the ozone water for 20 hours or more in order to completely dissolve the serpentine granules in the ozone water. Ozone content dissolved in the water of the second step is more than 1mg/liter. The method further includes a step of purifying the dissolved serpentine material into powder.
