HIGH POWER SURGE PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR HAVING SINE WAVE TRACKING CIRCUIT

A high power surge protection system having a sine wave tracking circuit is provided to remove a surge inputted to a load by bypassing the surge to a ground line through a varistor if a surge voltage level is higher than a clamping voltage of the surge protection system. In a high power surge protection system(100) having a pair of sine wave tracking circuits(120), a pair of varistors(110) connected between a power line(E) and a neutral line(N) and between the neutral line(N) and a ground line(G) are connected in series or in parallel according to a clamping voltage and a surge current withstand capability. The sine wave tracking circuits(120) are connected between the power line(E) and the neutral line(N) and between the neutral line(N) and the ground line(G) in parallel as a rear part of the varistors(110).
