METHOD FOR STERILLIZING NATURAL PEARL AND ELIMINATING HEAVY METAL IN NATURAL PEARL

A method of sterilizing natural pearl and eliminating heavy metal in the natural pearl is provided to safely use the natural pearl in edibility and skin cosmetic material. The method comprises the steps of: sterilizing and heating natural pearl in a composition which is mixed disinfectant solution of 0.5 to 3 wt.% containing at least one selected from a group consisting of grapefruit, green tea, and pine needle extract with distilled water of 85 to 95wt.% and ethyl alcohol of 4.5 to 12 wt.%, at 50 to 100deg.C for 3 to 6 hours; and eliminating heavy metal contained in the natural pearl using steam created through a heating composition which is mixed decontaminant of 0.5 to 3 wt.% containing at least one selected from a group consisting of bean flour and bean curd with distilled water of 75 to 85wt.% and ethyl alcohol of 14.5 to 22 wt.%, at 100 to 130deg.C for 3 to 6 hours.
