DIAPHRAGM SPRING OF CLUTCH AND CLUTCH COVER ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME

A diaphragm spring of a clutch and a clutch cover assembly including the diaphragm spring are provided to reduce the number of components, to cut down the cost of production and to make an assembling process simple by removing a fulcrum plate required up to now. The clutch cover assembly is completed by assembling a diaphragm spring, a pressure plate(4) and a clutch cover(2). The diaphragm spring is completed by connecting plural cantilever members(7b) which are divided by slits to a rim portion(7a). Hereon a convex portion is formed on the inside of the rim portion at a fixed distance away from the outer circumference of the diaphragm spring and contacted with an U-shaped extension part which is extended downward when assembling through a wide width part of the slit of the diaphragm spring to support the diaphragm spring when the diaphragm spring is mounted on the clutch cover assembly.
