METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF ASPHALT CONCRETE PACKING MATERIAL USING NONFERROUS METAL DUST AND FLY ASH

A method for manufacturing an asphalt concrete packing material using nonferrous metal dust as an industrial byproduct and fly ash is provided to recycle the industrial byproduct and improve physical properties of asphalt concrete. A method for manufacturing an asphalt concrete packing material using nonferrous metal dust and fly ash comprises the processes of: (i) mixing 40 to 60 wt.% of nonferrous metal dust with 40 to 60 wt.% of fly ash; (ii) heating the mixed dust to a temperature of 800 to 1200 deg.C to remove carbon contained in the mixed dust; (iii) pulverizing mixed dust that is deformed or has bad grain size using a screw type pulverizer; and (iv) sorting powder with a particle size of 75 to 600 mum from the crushed mixed dust by a drum type screen.
