An image device capable of checking output intensity and a method for setting an RF(Radio Frequency) favorite channel thereof are provided to automatically set an RF channel of a receiving side which receives an RF as the optimum frequency channel and set a frequency channel having a band of the RF channel as a favorite frequency channel. An image device(100) successively increases or decreases an inputted sound signal by a frequency band unit set up in a set frequency band, modulates the sound signal into an RF, and outputs the modulated RF. The image device(100) sets a plurality of RF channel information having excellent receiving sensibility as favorite frequency channel information according to receiving sensibility check information per a frequency band received from an output intensity checker(300). The output intensity checker(300) receives and demodulates the RF outputted from the image device(100), checks the corresponding receiving sensibility according to the frequency bands, and transmits the checked corresponding receiving sensibility check information to the image device(100).
