An overflow prevention lid of a pot is provided to prohibit boiled water from overflowing a pot and to maximally decrease an opening area of a lid and postpone a point of time that soup is burned and gets salty by cutting down the evaporation when cooking for long time. An overflow prevention lid of a pot comprises a second large steam discharge hole lid(6) formed with a second handle(7) and a second small steam discharge hole corresponding to forming a second large steam discharge hole at a first small steam discharge hole of a first lid(2); and a third steam discharge lid(10) formed with a third small steam discharge hole(12) and a third handle(11) corresponding to forming a third large steam discharge hole(9) at the second small steam discharge hole of the second steam discharge lid(6).
