Provided is a method for manufacturing a light board, which utilizes waste fiber-reinforced plastic chips as fillers to reduce the manufacturing cost as compared to a wooden light board while maintaining physical properties. The method for manufacturing a light board comprises the steps of: adding a crosslinking agent to a polymer solution obtained by dissolving waste plastics into a monomer as a reactive solvent, thereby forming a crosslinking agent-added plastic solution as a liquid resin; mixing and kneading the liquid resin with an initiator and an accelerator to provide a binder; mixing and kneading the binder with fillers and waste fiber-reinforced plastic chips having a particle diameter of 5 mm or less; and forming a light board from the resultant mixture.
