METHOD OF PREVENTING CONFLICTS BETWEEN A VIDEO TELEPHONY AND A MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE IN SENDING, AND THE MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL THEREOF

A method for preventing a collision between a video call and a multimedia message and a mobile terminal for executing the same are provided to previously prevent a collision between a multimedia message, which is being transmitted at present, and a video call by confirming whether a multimedia message in the middle of transmission exists in case that a user makes a video call request and canceling the transmission of the multimedia message or holding the video call according to the user's selection. If a user makes a video call request to a specific phone number, a control part confirms whether outgoing multimedia messages exist among the messages stored in a memory(S310,S315). If so, the control part confirms the transmission state of each the outgoing messages(S325). In case that outgoing multimedia message being transmitted at present exists(S330), the control part controls a display part to provide an information message to ask the user whether a user wants to cancel the transmission of the multimedia message(S340).
