An apparatus for testing a quality of Uu interface in IMT-2000 communication system

PURPOSE: A device for checking a quality of a wireless interface section of the next generation mobile communication system is provided to track and check the communication quality of a wireless interface section between a terminal and a base station in the IMT-2000 system. CONSTITUTION: An information input/output unit(210) performs a user interface for receiving various kinds of information from an exterior and outputting necessary information for constituting a message adapted to a wireless interface section transmission between a terminal and a base station. A circuit incoming/outgoing signal processing unit(220) is provided for processing a wireless interface message related to a circuit incoming/outgoing in accordance with information inputted through the information input/output unit(210). A packet incoming/outgoing signal processing unit(230) is provided for processing a wireless interface message related to a packet incoming/outgoing in accordance with information inputted through the information input/output unit(210). A hand-over sensing/processing unit(240) senses a hand-over related wireless interface message being generated by the movement of a predetermined terminal and processes the sensed hand-over message. A mobility management unit(250) is provided for processing a mobility management related to wireless interface message being generated by the movement of a predetermined terminal. A frequency characteristic analysis unit(260) analyzes an RF characteristic at a corresponding frequency band of the wireless interface unit. A modem characteristic analysis unit(270) analyzes a characteristic of a modem for performing a broadband CDMA. A message comparison/analysis unit(280) compares and analyzes various kinds of wireless interface messages received from the above elements with a standard, and outputs the result through the input/output unit(210). An RF modem processing unit(290) performs a communication signal process for connecting the wireless interface and the above elements(220,230,240,250). A control unit(280) controls message creations and initializations in the above units(220-260) and an internal communication processing function thereof based on information inputted through the input/output unit(210).
