SEAMLESS IP COMMUNICATION METHOD UNDER MULTI-PROTOCOL ENVIRONMENT

A seamless IP(Internet Protocol) communication method under a multi protocol environment is provided to implement a test environment for a mobile Internet terminal by transmitting data transparently between a host located in different sort of network using a multi protocol and other host connected to the Internet. A seamless IP communication method under a multi protocol environment includes the steps of: capturing an IP packet according to an access to an application server or a gateway from a mobile station, and registering an MAC(Medium Access Control) address and an IP address of the mobile station included in the IP packet(S18); broadcasting the IP packet to the application server and the gateway by setting an MAC address as a source MAC address(S22); after hooking an ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) request for the IP address of the mobile station from the gateway or the application server, and trying to register the ARP using the MAC address thereof as the MAC address of the mobile station(S26); after extracting the IP packet using the IP address of the mobile station as a destination, configuring and transmitting an MAC PDU(Packet Data Unit)(S36); and analyzing the MAC PDU received from the mobile station, configuring and broadcasting an Ethernet frame header to the application server and the gateway(S42).
