摘要

Provided is a method of preparing a glass-fiber insulating rod coated with an epoxy resin to suppress cavity formation as much as possible and to prevent corrosion of the glass-fiber insulating rod. The glass-fiber insulating rod is prepared by: coating a glass-fiber fabric with an epoxy resin to form a prepreg; laminating the prepreg in plural forms; heating twice, the first heating at 105-110deg.C for 60-90 minutes and the second heating at higher than 160deg.C for 3-4 hours, and pressing the plural, laminated prepregs under vacuum to form an epoxy coated glass-fiber board; cutting the glass-fiber board to form a glass-fiber insulating rod; and coating an exterior portion of the glass-fiber insulating rod with an anti-corrosion agent to form an insulating rod coated with the anti-corrosion agent.
