Method for Changing Function Between Multi-Function USB Slave Device and USB Host Device and Multi-Function USB Slave Device therefor

A method for changing a function between a multi-function USB slave device and a USB host device, and the multi-function USB slave device thereof are provided to enable the host device to smoothly change the function with function information included in a descriptor without implementing change command data for each USB function by transmitting all function information to the host device through the descriptor. A file I/O(Input/Output) sub system(300) stores a terminal function descriptor for function indexes and stores a USB port used in a wireless Internet platform(100) in a file form. A USB manager(200) manages USB information corresponding to the function index operated in the wireless Internet platform by connecting to the file I/O sub system through a file I/O interface(301). A device manager(401) manages USB function descriptor information provided from a terminal maker. If a function change request command is received, the device manager resets connection with the host device, makes the descriptor by combining the function indexes managed by the USB manager and provided from the terminal maker, and transmits the descriptor to the host device by setting the first index to the function requested from the host device.
