A multiplex PCR(polymerase chain reaction) method for classification of ESBL(extended spectrum beta-lactamase) and PCR primers for the same PCR method are provided to reduce the detection time by detecting and classifying 5 kinds of ESBL at one time of PCR, so that diffusion of antibiotic-resistant pathogenic bacteria is prevented at an early stage. The extended spectrum beta-lactamase is detected and classified by detecting at least 2 genes of extended spectrum beta-lactamase selected from TEM, CMY, CTX-M, OXA and SHV genes via multiplex PCR using a primer set selected from (a) a PCR primer set for detecting CTX-M having nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:2, (b) a PCR primer set for detecting TEM having nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:3 and SEQ ID NO:4, (c) a PCR primer set for detecting OXA having nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:5 and SEQ ID NO:6, (d) a PCR primer set for detecting SHV having nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:7 and SEQ ID NO:8, and (e) a PCR primer set for detecting CMY having nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NO:9 and SEQ ID NO:10.
