An auxiliary block for a cross rail is provided to prevent the abrasion and deformation of rails and wheels by supporting outer and inner circumferential surfaces of wheels and sliding wheels on rails using a sliding part and a projected support part. The invention relates to an auxiliary block(1) for a cross rail for preventing the abrasion of rails and wheels by making a wheel slide in a space at the intersection of rails, wherein a rectangular parallelepiped main body(100) is installed in a space formed at the intersection of rails and provided with a sliding part(101) for sliding an outer circumferential surface of a wheel slid on a rail and a projected support part for supporting an inner circumferential surface of the wheel while wheels pass through the auxiliary block. The rail is provided with a sliding surface on the upper part to slide wheels of a bogie, a fixing part on the lower part to fix the rail on the fixed spot and a support part to support load when a bogie slides between the fixing part and the sliding surface.
