SENSOR NETWORK TOPOLOGY MANAGEMENT METHOD USING TOPOLOGY INFORMATION TABLE

A topology management method of a sensor network using a topology management table is provided to enable a sink node to receive a report on topology information through communication between parent and child nodes and manage topology information of the sensor network, thereby efficiently maintaining/managing the topology information of the sensor network which is continuously changed. If a new child node is added to a parent node, a child node ID is allocated to the added child node, and the child node and the parent node individually generate topology management tables(200). The parent node reports changed topology information to a sink node from the topology management table(210,220). The sink node compares the reported topology information with the overall topology information. If a parent node of sibling of the added child node is different from the existing parent node of the overall topology information, deletion information of the added child node is notified to the existing parent node.
