A method of inducing minimally invasive injury of a spinal cord on experimental vertebrate animals is provided to obtain a model of invasive injury of a spinal cord to be used in development of new treatment agent of a stem cell. A method of inducing minimally invasive injury of a spinal cord on experimental vertebrate animals includes: inserting epidural needle into a space between lumbar and sacral part under fluoroscopy; removing epidural needle after inserting a guide wire into the epidural needle; removing the guide wire after mounting an introducer through the guide wire; inserting angioplasty balloon catheter through the introducer; and inducing minimally invasive injury of the spinal cord by expanding a balloon of the angioplasty balloon catheter by using blood vessel contrast agent and saline.
