A method of planting an ornamental plant is provided to create a beautiful interior decoration-effect by creating various shapes cleanly and simply by covering plant root with packaging paper soaked in nutrients so as to directly supply nutrients to root and installing a support member with good ventilation property on the outside. In the first step, packaging paper(3) with a plurality of meshes is soaked in plant nutrients or coated therewith. In the second step, the outside of plant root(1) is covered with the packaging paper and solid fertilizer(5) is put into the packaging paper. In the final step, a support member(7) with a plurality of ventilation holes(74) is installed on the outside of the packaging paper. The support member is formed by connecting a plurality of rotating balls(72) with a connecting device(9).
