DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT INTEROPERABILITY PLATFORM SYSTEM AND INTEROPERABLE METHOD THEREOF

A platform system and a method for interoperating DRM are provided to reduce duplicated purchase load of a user, and increase sales based on maximized use convenience by agreeing interoperation of the DRM to realize compatibility among a plurality of DRM devices or DRM engines of the DRM device. A DIP(DRM Interoperation Platform) client(110) generates/transmits the first content request signal and personal information to a DIP server(120). The first DRM device(130) checks the first media data downloaded by the DIP client or normal purchase of the first media data by receiving the first content request signal and the personal information from the DIP server. The second DRM device(140) checks whether media information having the same value as the first media data is found from purchase information received from the DIP server, and determines the same value by comparing the second media data with the first media data. The DIP server receives the purchase information returned by receiving a checking result of the first media data or the normal purchase from the first DRM device, changes or replaces the first media data with the second media data, and transfers the second media data to the DIP client.
