A hydroplane aggregate comprises, in addn. to turbo-jet engines or reciprocating piston engines, a high temp. superconductor linear motor for the catapult start and a magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) motor for the water landing, the superconductors of which are cooled with the same liq. hydrogen. Also claimed are high temp. superconductors and their rotors, a MHD motor and high temp. superconductor linear motor-MHD aggregates, esp. for hydroplanes. Further claimed are high temp. superconductor-semiconductors, comprising BiPbSrCaCuO in which the Cas is substd. by Ho, Tb, Dy and/or Er and opt. in p-n junction form; high temp. superconductor p-n soldering points, electromagnetic elements, thermomagnetic elements, thermoelectric elements and piezo-pressure elements; semiconductor-permanent magnet-high temp. superconductor regenerator; and various other high temp. superconductor-contg. devices such as hybrid fuel cell storage device, fuel pumps, ignition coils and electronic devices.
