The device has a power source (Q) and a brake light that is attached to the power source by a brake light switch (S) and illuminates with a closed brake light switch. The switch is closed by moving a brake cable (3) of a brake mechanics. The relative movement between the switch and a magnet caused by the operation of the mechanics changes the mutual position of the mechanics such that the switch is opened.
