Image display method for displaying structures in a three-dimensional graphics data record of an object displays such structures on a two-dimensional transillumination image of the object

Access is given to a three-dimensional (3D) graphics data record (GDR) of an object, captured with a medical imaging process. Within the 3D GDR, a position marking (2) is fixed from dots (P1,P2), lines, surfaces or other geometric figures so as to mark a position's structure (1) in an object, especially an anatomical landmark. A two-dimensional transillumination image of the object is captured. An independent claim is also included for a device for displaying structures on a two-dimensional transillumination image of an object, such structures being contained in a three-dimensional graphics data record of the object.
