A helicopter for observation, e.g. an unmanned aircraft with a variable position onboard camera (5) has three of more rotors and no tail rotor. The rotors are driven by separate of combined drives. One or two of the rotors are in front of the camera when viewing forward. These rotors are displaced by up to 20 percent of their diameter from the general horizontal plane so as not to be in the forward field of view of the camera.
