The meter has a magnetic unit arranged outside of a measuring tube, and two measuring electrodes (5) electrically isolated from one another to detect measuring voltage induced by a flowable medium. Each electrode is separately designed and includes a head section (8) made of pure, corrosion poor material, and a shaft section (7) made of impure, electrically conducting material e.g. Niro-steel. Each electrode contacts the medium by the head section (8) and establishes a mechanical attachment to the tube and/or electrical connection outward by the shaft section (7).
