The system has a number of power line communication (PLC) networks (10, 20) connected with a main power supply line, where one of the networks has a number of nodes. One of the nodes is connected with the main power supply line, where the other nodes are connected with each other by a bypass power supply line (36) to receive power of the main power supply line by the nodes. The nodes have a coil (43) that is connected with the supply lines. An independent claim is also included for a power line communication (PLC) network in a communication system.
