Protection of wooden posts, jetties, bollards and mooring posts in e.g. marine constructions, sleeves pipe over e.g. wooden pile by impact- or vibration ramming

A pipe (5) is sleeved over a wooden pile using impact- or vibration piling. Any excess wood (8) (exceeding the pipe diameter) is sliced off by this operation. The upper end of the pipe is capped (6) with suitable material. Concrete is filled into the pipe, to increase its strength. The pipe used, has a lower cutting edge (7). The pipe accommodates lights and power connections. It has a selected visible texture, e.g. a wood grain effect. A yoke is used to fasten it to the marine structure. An independent claim is included for the corresponding sleeving pipe.
