A method for synchronous processing of object versions in a network, in which during serialization, each individual element of the structured object quantity is serialized into a text-based output stream and during a deserialization, each element of the structured object quantity is deserialized from a text-based input stream, such that the data source of the input stream is formed by a version management system.
