The unit has an elongated bar shaped carrier (2) that is distantly supported at a fork position (3) of fork arms (4, 5). An electrode (11) is arranged between the distal ends of the fork arms. Ends of the electrode are connected with conductor wires (7, 74) at a contact unit (15) at proximal ends of the carrier. The wires run through the fork arm (4) and the carrier and are covered with an insulating cladding (8). The electrode is closed at the fork arm (5) at a distance to the fork position.
