The inverter motor comprises of a motor unit (2), an inverter (4), and a fan (16), such that the engine has one side (10) formed with cooling fins (28). The cooling fins are formed on the side of the motor unit facing the housing of the inverter. The motor unit has a housing with a thermal barrier (20) made of plastics, and formed with respect to the inverter. The fan is axially arranged on a face of the motor unit.
