The system has two iron rails (5) mounted as bearing rail for electromagnetically supporting and guiding a vehicle, where the iron rails are at a distance from each other at a track system. Electromagnets are designed as supporting magnet (8) and guiding magnet (9), and are arranged consecutively in two rows in the vehicle. A horizontal linear motor reaction rail (6) is insulatedly fastened at a limb of the iron rails, and a linear motor (10) is arranged for driving and braking of the vehicle, where the motor is provided at a distance from the reaction rail through a gap in the vehicle.
