The device has a mass body and a centrifugal mass (15) that is arranged with an adjustable mass-moment of inertia (16) at a crankshaft (11) of an internal combustion engine. An additional support is provided at a drive shaft (13) for the centrifugal mass, where the centrifugal mass is fastened at the drive shaft in a flexible manner. A decoupling module is provided for vibration insulation between a brake and the engine. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a test stand with a connection device (2) a method for connecting a crankshaft to the test stand.
