Realization of an axial flange on a tubular elastomer bearing using a special tool, for applications in motor vehicles, such as the bearings in wheel assemblies

The realization of an axial flange (4, 4') on an elastomer tubular bearing (2) is generated by folding of one or two axial ends of an external sleeve (3) after mounting the bearing, in which the internal part (1) with the body of the elastomer bearing are introduced into the external sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a tool for the realization of this axial flange on an elastomer tubular bearing.
