The method and/or construction for manufacture of a ventilation unit with heat recuperation has passage of the heat exchanger arranged between the inner wall of an outer tube (2) and outer wall of an inner tube (1). A fan, or fans (3.1,4.1) with one or more motors (5.1,5.2) lie in the inner tube, and the passages which are customarily required between heat exchanger and fan are dispensed with or formed by slots, as the case may be.
