An odor-trap for filtering off-gas comprising (a) a pot (3) with an outer chamber (1), a base part (6) with an off-gas inlet (8) and an outer jacket (5) joined to the base (6) and (b) a tubular filter unit (4) in the pot (3), with an inner chamber (11) and a jacket section with filter material (14), in which the filter unit (4) is mounted in the pot (3) in such a way that the off-gas flows from the inlet (8) to the outlet (28) through both chambers (1, 11) and the filter material (14).
