The device has a cable (2) whose end is connected with hand gears (6, 7). Flexible tubes (3, 4) have firm tube ends (3a, 4a, 3b, 4b) and a vehicle device (5), which is connected with the firm tube end (3a, 4a), to bring a force for changing a position of the tube end (3a, 4a) relative to the tubes. The tubes continue to curves (E, F) partially such that the tube end (3a, 4a) is arranged for the firm tube end (3b, 4b) at an angle of 75-180 degrees. The vehicle device has a spindle drive whose hollow shaft is connected with an internal thread, where the drive is driven by an electric motor. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing traction force in a cable.
