The cage (1) has a roller body (6) supported between outer and inner rings (4, 5), and two side rings (8, 9) arranged at a distance from each other in axis direction. The side rings are connected together by a rod (13), which is made of metallic material or polymer material, arranged at a distance in circumferential direction, so that recesses are formed for accommodating the body. The side rings are produced by non-machining shaping process, and formed as a hollow profile (14) e.g. rigid angled tube or circular tube, curved to a ring form. The profile is made of metallic material of good ST37.
