The system has a steering gear (4) to convert a steering wheel angle into a steering angle of a steerable wheel (5a), and an electronic control part (11). An additional superposition steering unit (12) generates an auxiliary angle and an input angle of the steering gear from a superposition of the steering wheel angle with the auxiliary angle. The steering unit (12) provides a required increased steering power of the system by an operation of a power section (10) for an electric motor (9) with an increased supply voltage in comparison with an electrical system voltage of a vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle model with several motor vehicle variants comprising an electrical servo steering system.
