The headlight (10) has a tubular light housing (12) provided on a light emitting side for accommodating light emitting diodes and closed by a transparent light disc (11). The light disc is designed as a single piece with a lining part (20) that is made from plastic e.g. polycarbonate. A ring-shaped reinforcing bar (14) sticks out from an inner side of the light disc, where the bar is formed as a single piece with the light disc. The housing is connected with the light disc by the bar. The diodes are arranged on a support wall that is provided with cooling fins.
