Preferred Features: The electrode material of the central and mass electrodes are made from platinum, iridium, rhodium, palladium and/or their alloys. The spark plug has an electrically conducting region (9) made from molybdenum disulphide and aluminum oxide, aluminum nitride or silicon nitride.
