Drive comprises a position-determining device consisting of a Hall switch (18) integrated in a d.c. motor (12) to produce a signal during adjustment of a display to determine the actual position of the display in a control and regulating unit (16). Preferred Features: The d.c. motor is connected to the control and regulating unit using an analogue-to-digital converter (14). The d.c. motor produces an analogue generator voltage during manual adjustment of the display which the converter converts into a digital signal so that the actual position of the display is determined in the control and regulating unit together with the signal from the Hall switch.
