A housing has connectors provided to connect and ensure contact between gas sensors (1) for storage inside the housing. The connectors are formed with shaped parts (3) and located on a flat ceramic base (4). Electrically connecting pieces are arranged underneath the ceramic base, while the gas sensors are arranged and connected above the ceramic base. A protective ring (5), made of glass or glass ceramic, is arranged surrounding the gas sensors. A gas-permeable cap (6), made of glass or glass ceramic, is arranged and locked with the protective ring.
