An automotive seat has a power-operated seat back rake adjustment assembly consisting of a vertical base anchorage plate with an articulated A-frame. The frame has articulated base links to threaded spindles (5, 6) with rotating spindle nuts (3, 4) coupled to a drive motor. On rotation of the spindle nuts to adjust the seat rake, the nuts maintain the relative position of the spindles to each other.
